よおこそ!
I created this site as a resource for students in my Japanese classes at Sacramento State and Napa Valley College, but these resources can be used by anyone taking Japanese, or who is self-studying.
The "Apps and Online Tools" page contains links to websites and stand-alone apps. The links in the apps section can be downloaded to an i-phone, i-pad or Android device, while those on the "online links" section are websites.
The "About the Japanese Language" section contains links to pages that explain aspects of Japanese grammar, language or writing that cannot be covered in class due to time constraints.
The "Just for Fun" page contains games, songs and videos in Japanese. The games have a practice aspect to them, so you will be studying as you are playing. The songs and videos were deliberately chosen for their silliness or "ear worm" value--they will get stuck in our head, but so will the concept that they are teaching.
Finally, the "Links" page contains links to sites about Japan and Japanese culture in general.
I hope you find the resources on this page useful. If you would like to share a resource, or report a broken link, please drop me an e-mail. Please also sign my guestbook.
